Optimist Club of Nor'West London

• formed in February 1978, 35 members.
• a response to the growing need for new youth programs in a rapidly expanding northwest London community.  
• estimated service since to over 60,000 youth in many Optimist & Youth programs.
• approx.  3,000 youth participate annually in Nor'West Optimist Soccer
• have assisted Banting Secondary School  with computers, sports equipment and soccer field improvements.
• elementary schools supported with installation of new playground equipment at  three locations.
• helped with the building of the Children's Safety Village
  
• newest community program: Nor'West Optimist Hockey
• financial support for Hockey Canada Skills Academy at Banting Secondary School
